Confirmation, if any were needed, that India is the newest poodle on the international block. The US sees the nuclear deal with India as sending a strong signal to 'outlaws such as Iran' on how a country could be 'rewarded' if it behaves. If Nicholas Burns thinks the way to assuage oppostion to the deal in India is to describe it as a reward for good behaviour, he needs some serious lessons in the language of diplomacy.
